A forced Windows 10 upgrade nearly led to disaster as the update secretly downloaded on PC’s used to coordinate anti-poaching rangers.<\/p>\n

Reddit user Zambuka42, an IT specialist helping coordinate anti-poaching angrily posted about how the download used over 17 GB of precious (and expensive) satellite bandwidth.<\/p>\n

“Aside from the fact that we pay per MB, and already share a slow connection, if a forced upgrade happened and crashed our pc’s while in the middle of coordinating rangers under fire from armed militarized poachers..<\/p>\n
