Hackers have stolen a massive\u00a0amount of Twitter login credentials and are selling them on the Dark Web.<\/p>\n

LeakedSource confirmed <\/a><\/strong>the hack in a blog post and stated that the leaked cache of Twitter data may contain as many as 32,888,300 records, including email addresses, usernames, and passwords.<\/p>\n

Twitter have acknowledged the hack, but were quick to point out that it wasn’t its fault:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are confident that these usernames and credentials were not obtained by a Twitter data breach \u2013 our systems have not been breached.”<\/p>\n

“In fact, we\u2019ve been working to help keep accounts protected by checking our data against what\u2019s been shared from recent other password leaks,\u201d a Twitter spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
