Motorola’s new Moto Z will not feature a headphone jack, making it the first flagship smartphone to ever do so.<\/p>\n

Neither the\u00a0Moto Z<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or its slightly thicker, improved Moto Z Force variant will offer an analog audio port, though both come with a USB-C adapter in the box, reports The Verge<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The move appears to be part of a focused shift to USB-C’s superior audio quality over\u00a0the traditional 3.5 mm jack.<\/p>\n

The phone will release worldwide in September 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
