Ubisoft has confirmed Watchdogs 2 won’t feature map unlocks by climbing towers, reports Eurogamer<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The entire map will be available to explore, as soon as players start the game up.<\/p>\n

“It’s not a game where you open your map and everything’s there,” Morin says. “There are no towers. You just explore the world.”<\/p>\n

“Players start with a few followers in DedSec but pretty soon you realise you’re going to need more if you want to pull off big operations. So you start free-roaming,” Morin continues.<\/p>\n

“Every time you get followers, it’s like you’re unlocking the DedSec hivemind.”<\/p>\n

Hopefully this is also a sign of future changes\u00a0to come, as Ubisoft’s infamous “towers” have featured in every\u00a0game\u00a0from Assassin’s Creed to Far Cry and The Crew.<\/p>\n
