Konami reveals that composer Daniel Licht, who is famous for his work on the Dexter TV series, will be at the musical helm to deliver on the trademark eerie score gamers have come to expect of the series. Konami has also released a 90-second sample of the in-game music, which can be obtained from Fileshack<\/a>, with thanks to Shacknews<\/a>.<\/p>\n Downpour takes place in a previously unexplored section of the Silent Hill world, a portion of the world which has been visible on maps in previous games, but has remained unexplored thus far.<\/p>\n The new storyline introduces Murphy Pendleton, a convict stranded in the foggy, malevolent world of Silent Hill. Pendleton begins the game lost and alone in the woods on the outskirts of the fabled town, shortly after escaping from his wrecked prison transport bus.<\/p>\n Downpour reveals a new, expansive environment that Konami claims bears all the hallmarks of the series – claustrophobic environments in which the player is never truly alone. The new batch of screenshots and artwork illustrate the visual direction the game is taking.
