A new series of Mass Effect novels published by Titan Books will serve as a link between the original Mass Effect trilogy and the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, reports IGN<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The novels will serve as both prequels and sequels to the in-game events and will be considered “canon” in terms of the greater Mass Effect universe.<\/p>\n

“Each book will focus on key characters, answering the many questions fans have been asking.”<\/p>\n

The first novel in the series, Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiative will release in August 2016, with the next three books slated for March 2017, September 2017 and March 2018.<\/p>\n

Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to launch in Q1 of 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n
