Minecraft developer Mojang has revealed the release date for the Minecraft movie.<\/p>\n
The movie will release on 24 May 2019<\/strong>, and will also be released in 3D<\/strong> and IMAX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Vu Bui from Mojang confirmed the film’s release date in a blog post, commenting on the distant release.<\/p>\n “Yes, that might seem like a long time away, but it just so happens to be the right amount of time to make it completely awesome. And we all want an awesome Minecraft movie, right?”<\/p>\n The film will be directed by Rob McElhenney, co-creator of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n Roy Lee, producer of the Lego Movie<\/strong>, will reportedly<\/strong> <\/a>also assist in the creation of the film.<\/p>\n Are you excited for the Minecraft Movie?
