Indianapolis Business Journal reported<\/a> that this year\u2019s Gen Con Indy is projected to attract around 65,000 participants, greater than last year\u2019s record of around 61,000.<\/p>\n This led organisers to expand to ICC\u2019s neighbour, the Lucas Oil Stadium to provide additional space for the event.<\/p>\n For convenience, attendees will be able to use the tunnel connecting the two venues. Exposure alone from being an exhibitor can boost a title\u2019s popularity several times over.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why games across all platforms enter these kinds of events, from tabletop card duels such as Magic: The Gathering<\/a> and console games like Dark Souls III<\/a>, all the way to mobile games of every genre including tactical RPG\u2019s such as Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> to casual casino games like mobile slots title Starburst<\/a> from Spin Genie.<\/p>\n Gaming conventions offer much more than just tabletop and video games.
