Upcoming first-person horror game Scorn promises to give you nightmares as “even changing weapons makes you feel a bit sick”, reports Eurogamer<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Developed by the 10-person Serbian studio Ebb Software, Scorn’s otherworldly visual stylings owe more than a little to Alien artist H.R. Giger with an unsettling environment composed of diseased organic material and expansive foggy banks that make you queasy just looking at them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The game also promises not to have any scripted cut-scenes or procedural generation, with every aspect of the game being “meticulously-crafted”.<\/p>\n

“All of the storytelling happens in-game, with no cut-scenes to distract you from the grisly reality of the living, breathing (throbbing, dripping) world you’re in,” says the developer.<\/p>\n

“But keep your eyes open – the game won’t show you any sympathy if you miss something important on your uneasy travels. Everything has a reason and purpose – you just need to work out what it is.”<\/p>\n

The title is currently on Steam Greenlight<\/a><\/strong> (although it appears to already be very polished) and is expected to make its full release in 2017.<\/p>\n
