Kaos Studios and their PC development partner Digital Extremes have revealed some PC specific info for Homefront – a near-future, post-peak oil, predictive history FPS in which the American empire is in decline, and North Korea has radicalised and built a strong alliance throughout east Asia.<\/p>\n

Homefront will use Steamworks DRM. Not so coincidentally, the game is also now available on the Steam Store<\/a> as a pre-order. Pre-orders on Steam will unlock the Air Assault Drone in multiplayer on day one.<\/p>\n

Nvidia 3D Vision support has been confirmed, along with the recommended specs for a 3D Vision setup.<\/p>\n

NVIDIA 3D Vision Recommended Spec:<\/strong><\/p>\n

•    3D Compatible NVIDIA GeForce 480\/570 Series GPU
•    NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit
•    3D Vision-Ready Display
•    Intel Core i7 processor
•    2 GB RAM
•    Windows Vista or Windows 7
•    10GB of free hard drive space<\/p>\n

•    1st person cockpit and 3rd person viewpoint and control from all vehicles.
•    Helicopters will have 3 levels of control for PC gamers:
      o    Ace<\/span>: Allows for the best maneuverability, but takes the most practice to master.
      o    Veteran<\/span>: Balanced difficulty and maneuverability.
      o    Rookie<\/span>: Pick-up-and-play level of difficulty, least maneuverable.
•    Practice mode so players can get to grips with vehicle controls outside of live matches.
•    Additional vehicle abilities for co-pilots, such as a Recon function.
•    Joystick control support for all vehicles.
•    Squad management system complete with squad based VoIP.
•    Clan Support with post-match statistic tracking.
•    Multiplayer match recording.
•    Steamworks Valve Anti-Cheat system.
•    Dedicated Server Browser.
•    LAN support.
