Pok\u00e9mon GO, the augmented-reality smartphone game,\u00a0is taking the world by storm.<\/p>\n

According to a SimilarWeb report<\/a><\/strong>, the game quickly overtook Tinder and has around\u00a0the same number\u00a0of daily active users as Twitter.<\/p>\n

These statistics refer to US smartphone users, although the game is also officially available in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

As of 8 July, Pok\u00e9mon GO was installed on 5.16%<\/strong> of Android devices in the United States, with users spending a large amount of time in-game.<\/p>\n

Users spend an average of 43 minutes<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0the game every day – more than they spend using\u00a0WhatsApp<\/strong>, Instagram<\/strong>, Snapchat<\/strong>, or Messenger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon GO has been out for less than a week, but the data displays a very good outlook for the game.<\/p>\n

Most users decide whether or not to uninstall an app in the first 3-7 days<\/a><\/strong>, and so far Pok\u00e9mon GO has displayed a good app retention rate.<\/p>\n
