Blizzard will enforce\u00a0a one-hero limit on Competitive Play teams in\u00a0Overwatch, reports GameSpot<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This will prevent competitive teams from using\u00a0strategies involving picking the same\u00a0heroes, such as an all-Bastion lineup.<\/p>\n

The one-hero limit does not apply to Quick Play<\/strong> however, meaning that players can still employ their 6-man Torbjorn strategies in the more casual game mode.<\/p>\n

The one-hero limit will appear on the Public Test Realm soon and will then be added in to the main game.<\/p>\n

Blizzard is also revising the mechanics of the Competitive Play system, including the resolution of ties.<\/p>\n

Blizzard also plan to introduce a number of balance changes to Overwatch’s heroes with D.Va<\/strong>\u00a0and Zenyatta<\/strong> first in line.<\/p>\n

“Zenyatta is getting a little more shields, and he goes a lot faster when he uses his Ultimate,” said Blizzard principal designer Scott Mercer.<\/p>\n

“D.Va’s Defense Field, instead of clicking it and it lasting three or four seconds and having a long cooldown, it’s now something where you can toggle it on and off and there’s a meter that runs that.”<\/p>\n
