Microsoft have finally enabled the ability to hide your email address from the Windows 10 login screen.<\/p>\n

This may not be a big\u00a0deal for those of you on home PCs or who rarely power down, but it’s a security flaw when you’re out with a laptop or in a large office.<\/p>\n

Arriving in the upcoming Anniversary update<\/a><\/strong> (or if you have access to any test or Windows insider builds), there is now an option to hide\u00a0your email on the login screen.<\/p>\n

To do so navigate to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The option to display your email will then be the very last option under the Privacy category.<\/p>\n
