Pokemon GO is currently taking the world by storm, with news that the\u00a0app has already eclipsed Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately scamsters have also cottoned onto the popularity of the game and the fact that the app is still to release worldwide.<\/p>\n

As a result, a new report by ESET<\/a> <\/strong>has revealed that the first fake lockscreen app on the Google Play Android Store and two scareware apps all posed as Pokemon Go-related apps.<\/p>\n

The lockscreen app deliberately locks the screen right after the app is started forcing the user to restart the device.<\/p>\n

After reboot, it runs in the background hidden from the victim, silently clicking on porn ads online.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
