The Galax\u00a0GeForce GTX 1060 Exoc is priced from as low as\u00a0R5,199<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>and the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 is priced at\u00a0R5,339<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both graphics card are available at various South African retailers, although stock may be limited due to excessive demand.<\/p>\n

Verdict<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Both the Radeon RX 480 and GeForce GTX 1060 offer superior performance for their price bracket and offer smooth Full HD gaming to the mainstream PC gaming market.<\/p>\n

The Radeon RX 480 performs slightly better than the GTX 1060 in DirectX 12<\/strong> games, likely due to its Asynchronous Compute capabilities.<\/p>\n

However, the majority of games still use the DirectX 11<\/strong> API<\/strong>, and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 firmly beats the Radeon RX 480 in this category.<\/p>\n

Overall the GeForce GTX 1060 provides gamers with an average 5 FPS advantage over the Radeon RX 480<\/strong> across both DirectX 12 and DirectX 11 titles.<\/p>\n
