If you are still battling against\u00a0those constant “upgrade notifications”, you are in luck – Microsoft will no longer be offering Windows 10 as a free upgrade to Windows 7 and 8.1 owners as of 29 July.<\/p>\n

After that, you can expect to pay at least R1,399<\/strong> for a copy <\/a><\/strong>of Windows 10 Home. Alternatively you could be paying up to R2,299<\/strong> for Windows 10 Pro.<\/p>\n

Those who upgrade will also gain access to the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update (expected on 2 August), including advanced gestures, new Cortana commands and the merged version of the Windows\/Xbox One app stores.<\/p>\n
