Changes to the iOS version of Pokemon GO finally show what South Africans can expect to pay for in-app purchases, reports htxt<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Of course all of these purchases are optional and if you are anything like us, you haven’t put any money into the game despite playing it non-stop for the last two weeks.<\/p>\n

Browsing the iOS version of the game, players\u00a0should immediately notice from the screenshot below what has been added\/changed. That\u2019s right \u2013 the PokeCoins\u2019 prices are all displayed in South African Rands.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For those who installed\u00a0Pokemon GO using their US iTunes accounts, these prices used to be displayed in dollar.\u00a0On Android, prices have been listed in South African rand since the APK first became available on APKMirror.<\/p>\n

Perhaps what’s most exciting is that these changes could be indicative of a local launch sometime in the near future.<\/p>\n

With the release of the Pokemon GO Plus accessory <\/a><\/strong>on 29 July, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to expect a local release in the next\u00a0week or so.<\/p>\n
