Although Pokemon GO has become ridiculously popular since its international release, the user base for the app has been steadily declining for weeks.<\/p>\n

After the initial hype and massive peak in player count, gamers\u00a0have steadily been giving up on Pokemon GO.<\/p>\n

The latest SurveyMonkey<\/a><\/strong> data shows that the player count for Pokemon GO peaked on 14 July 2016<\/strong> and has been steadily falling since.<\/p>\n

This does not mean that Pokemon GO is going anywhere\u00a0any time soon however, as even with its gradual decline in user base, it still boasts an immensely large following.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how Niantic plans to retain its user base over an extended period of time, as the company is already working on\u00a0new gameplay features<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
