Telltale Games is introducing multiplayer elements into it’s story-driven adventures, reports Shacknews<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The point-and-click titles have historically only featured a single-player experience, and\u00a0the upcoming Batman: The Telltale Series will be the first game to include a new multiplayer feature.<\/p>\n

Titled Crowd Play, this new multiplayer mechanic will allow family, friend and large audiences to interact with the single-player story from a spectator perspective.<\/p>\n

Telltale has stated that all upcoming Telltale games will feature this new multiplayer experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Audience members can vote on story decisions and display\u00a0their approval or disapproval at the character’s choices.<\/p>\n

After turning on Crowd Play, a URL will be generated which the player shares with their audience, who can then enter the URL into a web browser and interact with the game.<\/p>\n

This new feature holds great promise for both streamers with large audiences and friends who want to enjoy Telltale’s experiences together.<\/p>\n

Batman: The Telltale Series is set to release on 2 August 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
