A recent study reveals that mobile there are more games in development for mobile platforms than the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.<\/p>\n

A 2016 game development survey conducted by GDC found that game developers are focussing more on creating smartphone and tablet games than console titles.<\/p>\n

The PlayStation 4 is also ranked as more important than the Xbox One, with a difference of 5%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that despite mobile gaming being ranked as more important than PlayStation 4 by a margin of 16%<\/strong>, PC remains the most important gaming platform<\/strong>, beating mobile gaming by 8%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Nintendo Wii U and previous-gen consoles are largely ignored by game developers, who focus most of their efforts on PC and mobile gaming.<\/p>\n
