Watch the first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2

20 October 2016

It’s been a week of excitement and anticipation with the build-up to the reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2, and Rockstar has now dropped the first trailer for the Western action sequel.

In traditional Rockstar style, the new trailer shows a whole lot, but doesn’t give too much on the story details. There is an ominous narration by an unknown character, as well some hero-shots of a particular cowboy – who this is though, we’re not sure.

Rockstar also recently registered the domain for “Red Dead Online”, suggesting that the developer will follow the framework of GTA V, which had a fully-fledged online component called Grand Theft Auto Online.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch in Q3/Q4 of 2017 on Xbox One and PS4.

The original was overrated and this looks like a very similar offering – just a graphics update.
