The US retail market will be receving on 19 April a disc bundle of three top Xbox LIVE Arcade indie games. These are Limbo, Trials HD, and ‘Splosion Man. The bundle will be selling over the pond for a low price of US$29.99 (±R200).
Unfortunately for SA gamers, this great bundle won’t be coming to SA retail. According to Stefan van de Giessen, Comztek channel manager for Microsoft Xbox SA, “At present it will not be brought into South Africa.” Elaboration on the reasons why were not provided.
Both LIMBO and Trials HD are available on the South African Xbox LIVE service via download, but the fiery ‘Splosion Man is not.
This is another blow to the lacklustre local Arcade games line-up and for gamers who would have likely enjoyed such a well-priced bundle at the retail level.
