The release date for the Xbox One S console in South Africa has been confirmed.
The Xbox One S will be available from 13 April 2017.
- The 500GB Xbox One S will be priced at R4,999.
- The 1TB model is priced at R5,999.
The Xbox One S is a slimmer version of the original Xbox One and features 4K video and HDR support, and includes a new, streamlined controller.
Customers who pre-order the console will receive an additional bundled wireless controller and FIFA 17, or a 12-month Xbox Live subscription.
Pre-orders for the Xbox One S will remain open until 6 April.

That price is disappointing for people who waited this long for the Slim console to be sold here officially and hoped to pay less than an import would’ve costed. I bought mine in December 2016 from a guy who imports stuff and it only cost me R6200 for a 1TB GOW4 bundle.
