Are yer ready fer some rootin’, tootin’, six-gun shootin’? Yeehaw, mosey on down, giddy up, varmints, pardner, there’s a new sheriff in town, and other clichés in the appropriate vernacular go here.
All that done and dusted then, Twisted Pixel has released an Xbox LIVE demo for their skeleton cowboy marionette game, The Gunstringer, ahead of its official retail launch in September. You might say it’s on the spur of the moment. Spur! Get it? Oh, nevermind.
The game is an arcade-style, gallery shooter mixed up with some platforming bits, and harnesses the wild, wild western frontier power of Kinect to get it done. Harnesses! Get it? Oh, somebody shoot me.
Also, remember that the full version of the game will ship with a free voucher for Fruit Ninja Kinect, so that’s nice. In the meantime, you can check out the demo by downloading it from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
