Somebody over at Epic Games’ online multiplayer control room apparently forgot to flip a switch somewhere, and has inadvertently revealed what may or may not be the contents of Gears of War 3’s first map pack add-on.
A video over on YouTube shows a bunch of maps listed on the game’s Horde leaderboards that, significantly, aren’t actually in the game (yet).
These include maps named Azura, Rustlung, and Blood Drive, that last of which you might remember from Gears of War 2. Also, I totally called it.
For the moment, Epic hasn’t yet commented on the “leak”, but in the meantime, how about a modified Boomshot that launches chickens?
It’s pretty complicated getting it, but hey, it’s a Boomshot that launches chickens. That’s totally worth a bit of time investment.
GameFront’s got the full rundown, but a word of warning – you’ll have to play the game on its bastard-hard Insane difficulty for this, so better grab a buddy to help you out.
