I love the smell of shotty gibs in the morning, so G4TV’s X-Play video reveal of the incoming Gears of War 3 Horde Command DLC pack really got my day off to a great start, even if I had to strap a chunk of raw steak under my nose to get the full experience.
The video shows off some of the DLC’s features, including the Rustlung map, new characters, and – my personal favourite – the Command Center’s emergency strike team.
NOTHING BUT BITS!
The DLC’s due to drop on 1 November, and includes three new maps, four new base fortification upgrades for Horde mode, three new characters, and two new weapon skins.
It’s tagged at 800 MSP, but if you buy the Season Pass, you’ll save 33% off that.
It’s also the first of at least four (and almost certainly more) DLC add-ons for the game, one of which will be an additional campaign chapter.
