Forza keeps loyalists happy with launching monthly DLC’s bringing gamers back wanting more.
There’s some really special cars featured this time around and a worthy mention is the somewhat caricatured Monster Sport Suzuki. With its eye-watering acceleration and sublime handling evident of its Pike Peak hill climbing heritage and reminiscent of the world record smashing 1996 Escudo we know all too well.
Another superb car is the 1977 Ford Escort RS1800, a car that was so much fun to drive, and although not a Cortina, makes one feel like Stander making a getaway in an old school 70’s Ford.
Cars themselves remain as forms of art and art is subjective, so in my opinion this DLC left me somewhat disappointed.
Perhaps this pack suits your tastes better, but for me, half the cars released weren’t really iconic or captivating enough to use within Career mode.
Another disappointment is having no new tracks, or any new Autovista models to try out.
The download is similar to previous Forza 4 speed pack DLC; it’s a reasonable download size of 103MB and costs 560 MS Points (a little over R70). With a somewhat lacking line up of cars and otherwise no new content, I question its value.
So Is this DLC worthy of your MS Points? In my opinion this is a car pack you won’t really miss.
Note: A Season Pass costs 2400 MS Points which entitles you to six add-on car packs at 10 cars per pack and grants you the Muscle Car Pack for free and a more substantial long-term saving of 1520 MS Points.
