Forza 3 will not feature night driving, weather or rally

Forza 3 community manager Che Chou has confirmed on the official game forum that there will be “No weather, night racing, or rally in the game.”
This comes after rumours circulated that the game would feature a weather engine and a rally mode.

Despite this the game looks to be a scorcher in terms of car selection. At the E3 conference in May developers Turn 10 confirmed that Forza 3 will feature over 400 cars and will be the first in the series to feature cockpit view.

“Any car is up for grabs. Just because we haven’t announced/shown it doesn’t mean it won’t make it into the game. We’re just trickling out info,” Said Chou. “Painter, tuner, drag, drift scoreboards. Yes, it’s all in the details which we haven’t revealed yet.”

If recently posted screenshots are anything to go by players can expect do get in the driver’s seat of a Ferrari 599, Lamborghini Murcielago, Audi R8, Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG, Aston Martin DB9, BMW M3 and a host of Le Mans and Gran Prix vehicles.

Additionally the game will include 100 tracks and over 200 Circle, Oval, Drag, Drift and Timed events. Turn 10 has also confirmed that the Circuit de la Sarthe, used for the 24 hours Le Mans, will be featured.

Forza 3 is due for release in October 2009, exclusively to Xbox360.
