Having absolutely no backwards compatibility right off the bat puts me off console gaming, they could have at least tried to offer a consolation by having the first couple of hardware revisions be backwards compatible like the ps3 was.
The tv features being advertised for the xbox one just makes it look like a glorified bluray / pvr box. I sincerely doubt that any of those features will be available anywhere outside the states.
Personally, I will be sitting this console generation out and growing my steam collection on my pc.
