Microsoft has announced that its new XBox One gaming console will cost $499, and that it will go on sale in November 2013 in 21 markets. The price in Europe will be €499.

The announcement, which were made during Microsoft’s press event at E3, included the unveiling of exclusive titles coming to the Xbox One.

Some of the exclusives include Ryse: Son of Rome, a reboot of Killer Instinct, and Forza Motorsport 5.

Bad news for South African gaming enthusiasts is that South Africa was not announced as one of the 21 markets where the XBox One will be launched in November.

It is currently not clear when local consumers can expect to get their hands on an XBox One.
