Xbox 360 flash drive storage update now live

Microsoft has released a firmware update via Xbox live which allows console owners to use regular flash based USB memory sticks to store content. This is not limited to music and movies, but rather allows users to essentially use a USB flash stick as if it were a dedicated Xbox 360 harddrive.

The news is particularly exciting for Xbox 360 Arcade owners, who have until now have not been able to install games, or download games from Xbox Live.
