Dead Rising 3 will be one of the big titles on display at Gamescom 2013, and IGN has the exclusive on the CGI trailer released to mark the event.
The trailer doesn’t really tell us much new about the game, but it certainly sets the tone for Dead Rising 3 – brutal, gore-infused, weapon crafting mayhem with a twist of dark humour.

Dead Rising 3 will be an Xbox One exclusive, and stars a new hero named Nick Ramos.
The sequel will retain the series’ open-world design and weapon crafting systems, allowing for hundreds (if not thousands) of different weapon combinations.
Vehicles will now play a role, allowing Nick to hop into a number of different cars to help him get around the game world. Zombies can also attempt to hop on the vehicle and break in.
Microsoft SmartGlass will be integrated into the game, allowing players to call in artillery using the tablet-syncing feature.
