Rumours are once again making the rounds that Epic Games has confirmed the existence of Gears of War 3.
This time several gaming news portals including Shack News, Joystiq and Kotaku picked up on an Xbox Live Dashboard advert which dated the second sequel in the massively popular Gears of War franchise for April 2011.
The advert appeared a day after Gears of War developer Epic Games’ Clifford Michael Bleszinski was scheduled to appear in Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This was however pushed back to Monday in order to make way for teenage singer Justin Bieber.
Neither Microsoft nor Epic Games have yet confirmed whether the rumours are true. In this case however there certainly appears to be fire where there’s smoke.
