Two weeks ago Bad Company 2 dethroned Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) as the most played game in SA, according to Xbox Gaming’s activity charts.

Sadly for EA, it was a brief stint at the top for the online shooter, and Activision’s behemoth is right back where it has been for almost every week since its launch in November 2009. This week is no different, and MW2 further solidifies its spot at the top.

Ten most played Xbox 360 games in say between April 5 and April 11

1.    Modern Warfare 2
2.    Battlefield: Bad Company 2
3.    Forza Motorsport 3
4.    Mass Effect 2
5.    Borderlands
6.    Gears of War 2
7.    FIFA 10
8.    Just Cause 2
9.    Call of Duty: World at War
10.  Dragon Age: Origins

Bad Company 2 hangs in at second place, and Forza 3 remains in third. Mass Effect 2 sees a surge, from 9th place to 4th place, and Borderlands continues to impress with its staying power. Call of Duty: World at War resurfaces, marking a surprising return to the top ten at 9th place, and Dragon Age: Origins is also back in the picture.

Microsoft’s Game Room disappears, as does Street Fighter 5. Just Cause 2 hangs in at 8th place, and FIFA climbs from 10th to 7th place.
