Alan Wake’s not out until 18 May, but these can keep you company in the meantime – the first two episodes of the six-part live action prequel, Bright Falls. And when I say “keep you company”, I mean late at night, when you’re trying to sleep, and you can’t seem to forget what you saw, or what you think you saw, or what you might’ve imagined all along, and what was that, anyway?
The episodes (5 and 7 minutes or so, respectively) follow a reporter, Jake, around the not-Twin Peaks town of Bright Falls. But it’s pretty much Twin Peaks. Consider this an official “Some Weird Stuff, Seriously” warning.
Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers can grab both episodes in glorious HD from the Game Marketplace, but everyone else can watch them on the New York Times website.
