Xbox One friends app – this is how it works

Xbox One Friends App

Ahead of the incoming launch of the Xbox One, Microsoft has released a video detailing how the friends app will work, along with showing some more footage of the new dashboard.

The video shows how the friends list, party, and personal profiles look in the new interface, along with the ability to see your friends’ latest videos and achievements.

You can also create a favourites list, allowing you to order friends according to who you most play with, so that you can find them quickly when putting together an online party.

The follow feature is also shown, where, much like Twitter, you can “follow” other gamers without even being friends, allowing you to see what they’re up to and any content they upload.
