Ladies and gentlemen, I think Microsoft just ended the console wars once and for all. Years of arguing over frame rates, resolutions, features and reliability have got us nowhere.
And there I was thinking that both consoles were pretty evenly matched. Unfortunately for Sony fans, you JUST CAN’T ARGUE WITH STARWARS, and Microsoft has sealed the deal with a series of avatar costumes that tip the balance indubitably in favour of the 360.
What’s that PS3 fanboys? You have God of War, Heavy Rain and Killzone? That’s nice, oh, have you met MY AWESOME CHEWBACCA LIVE AVATAR!!?
StarWars avatars soon to be made available via the Xbox Live market place include:
– Imperial snowtrooper (male and female)
– Boba Fett (male and female)
– Lando costume with cape (male)
– Chewbacca (male and female)
– Rebel snowspeeder pilot (male and female)
– Han Solo Hoth outfit (male)
– Leia Hoth outfit (female)
– Bossk (male and female)
– C-3PO (male and female)
– AT-AT pilot (male and female)
There are also some pretty sweet props, including a Tautaun pet.
In all seriousness though, I have yet to pay actual money for any of Microsoft’s sneaky Xbox Live gimmicks, but this may be the one that turns me.
