Xbox One news 1

We recently reported on brand new rumours supposedly coming from an insider at Microsoft – including a potential Xbox One South African launch date. Here are some more details picked form the leak.

Could Microsoft be working on a few new Xbox One models? Apparently Microsoft is working on a disc-less white Xbox One with 1TB of storage.

According to the Verge, an insider at Microsoft can confirm that they are planning to release their “employee only” white Xbox One model in October 2014.

Another report claims that they are planning to release an Xbox One model without a Blu-Ray drive; the Verge then confirmed these reports, saying that they can confirm that Microsoft has been testing a disc-less model.

Microsoft is also reportedly working on a Titanfall themed Xbox One console, set for release in November 2014.

A leaked poster serves as proof. Remember these could all be rumours, and nothing has been officially confirmed.
