Useful as streaming from your Xbox One to a Windows 10 PC might be, the service initially comes with one minor setback, the quality of the video once it arrived at your monitor
Owing to a bandwidth limiter put in place by the Xbox App, the visuals of the stream were lower than expected, a less than ideal experience.
Fortunately for us, an ingenious few on Reddit found a tweak that allows you to effectively remove the bandwidth limit and noticeably improve the quality of image.
Now it seems, you may no longer need to thanks to the Xbox One’s August update.
The update introduces the option to stream in “Very High” quality without needing the hot fix introduced by the Redditers. It also means high-res HD quality video at 1080p and 60fps.
The August update also improves the Xbox app itself somewhat and makes a number of quality of life improvements.
