Are you SA’s ultimate Xbox 360 gamer?

15 November 2010

Can you talk the talk? Can you walk the walk? Can you… teabag the teabag? PROVE IT. The people over at XboxGaming.co.za are looking to declare the Xbox LIVE SA Ultimate Gamer, and they’ve got a one-of-a-kind South African-branded 250GB Xbox S console up for press-B-to-grab.

The first round and semi-final will be played in Halo: Reach, with 6-player Slayer and pre-configured map variants, while the finals will be determined in two as-yet unannounced XBLA titles (codes provided). Obviously, entrants will need a valid Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, as well as a copy of Halo: Reach and presumably enough bandwidth to download the XBLA games should they get far enough in the competition.

Also, I’m entered into the competition already, so anyone who’s dreamed of shotgunning me in the face for being rude about their favourite game or their spelling or whatever will have an opportunity to do so. I’m totally rubbish at Halo.

Additionally:

• South African residents only

• Registration must be completely fully before the closing date

• Entrants must be at least 16 years of age or older

• A broadband connection of at least 384kbps is required

Registration closes at 7pm tonight, so stop wasting time.
