There’s no such thing as “happily ever after” in the land of Albion. Or the land of DLC add-ons, for that matter. Just a couple of weeks after Fable III’s launch, Lionhead’s already announced the game’s first (of presumably several) DLC add-on, the Understone Quest Pack.
Set in and about a subterranean town built beneath Bowerstone, the DLC has the hero king / hero queen dodging tax reform meetings, portrait sittings, and other drab royal duties, and instead running off on adventure to solve whatever mystery Understone holds.
But wait! There’s more! Included in the DLC pack is a new shooting range mini-game over at the Mistpeak Valley merc camp, while you’ll also have the opportunity to replay Reaver’s arena challenges as a sort of game show. So just like in the original game, but now with prizes.
The Understone Quest Pack drops 23 November, and is priced at 400 MSP.
If that’s not your thing, however, perhaps you’d prefer the Exclusive Hair Pack (160 MSP), featuring corn rows, afro, and asymmetrical bob styles. Or perhaps not. There’s also a 5 Star Dog Potion (80 MSP), instantly promoting your pooch to a 5-star digger, diver, and hidden-chest-tracker-downer; a Reaver Industries Hero Outfit (160 MSP); and a Dye Pack (80 MSP), including black, cream, hot pink, and turquoise. Two of my favourite colours, combined with the two worst colours ever invented – maybe they’re taking this good/evil thing a bit far.
