The latest game in the Gears of War series now has an official trailer, which promises a ‘Nightmare Reborn’.

The trailer is titled “Tomorrow” and reveals that the game is set 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3.

The video focuses on JD Fenix, the son of Marcus Fenix – who was a central character in the previous Gears of War games.

As with many previous Gears of War trailers, the composition of the Gears of War 4 trailer features intense action accompanied by a melancholy cover – namely Disturbed’s Sound of Silence.

Gears of War 4 will feature a whole new cast of characters being introduced into the Gears of War universe, and will release on 11 October 2016.
