Xbox LIVE emperor Major Nelson has announced that the premium service is going FFA to everybody next weekend. That means everybody gets to go free from 12pm EST, or about 7pm real local time. Prepare to be thoroughly humiliated in your favourite game.
But wait, that’s not all! From 28-31 January, there’s a bunch of stuff going cheap on Xbox LIVE too. According to Major Nelson, XBL users can cash in on “special one-time savings of up to 50 percent on more than 25 pieces of exciting content from Rockstar Games and 2K, including add-ons for GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, Bioshock 2 and more! For details, please check your Xbox LIVE Dashboard on January 25.”
