Microsoft has officially dropped the price of its Xbox One console again.

The new international recommended retail price for the Xbox One is $280, down over $70 from the console’s RRP of $350 in May.

The effects of these new price cuts are already being felt in South African, with local distributor Prime Interactive recently offering over R1,500 off all Xbox One consoles over the weekend of 16-19 June.

These price cuts are almost certainlybeing implemented to help clear stock for the upcoming Xbox One S and Project Scorpio consoles that Microsoft announced at E3.
