Where do YOU draw the line? What offends YOU?

Sorry Tsar. I really crossed the line there.

For me it's not so much the content, but the tone and intention.

I can watch South Park bash Catholics and Jesus Christ and I'm ok with it. It's hard to take anything South Park does seriously. But if someone is genuinely having a go at you I get a bit irked.

I'm fine with the Fist of Jesus game, but the mass murdering thing actually goes out of it's way to offend and disgust you. It exists purely to offend you :P

Ignoring the bait-style topic:

Personally I find the casual use of the word "rape" in the gaming context deeply offensive (e.g. Calling it spawn-raping & other variations)

It seems like such a insensitive thing given the SA context.

(And no thankfully there is no background story here as to why I feel strongly about it...just do)

JC! Is this going to turn into another TK? FFS, I hope not.

Read the title; post accordingly.

It offends me when people say threads turn into the TK. [emoji14]

On a serious note, I'm pretty easy going. Whatever floats your boat, I'm okay with. As long as it is in the confines of the law or doesn't have some form of cretin moral standard.

It does irk me when people are being dicks for no reason, though.

Being a Christian, it kinda bugs me when people say "Jesus Christ" to exclaim frustration or instead of another swearword. I usually don't act on it and "take it with a pinch of salt" (as has been recommended in this thread), but when people take it too far and use phrases like "Jesus f***ing Christ" (or similar) it gets on my nerves.

Other than that I get HIGHLY irritated when people call me a liar to my face or believe I'm out to do them harm. I'm altruistic and helpful by nature, so taking a shot at my good nature makes me blow more than a few fuses.

I apologise for my poor and blasphemous selection of wording. I will in future try hard not to blasphemy. My lack of religion shouldn't affect others who are religious. I would say I'm a Christian because my family is of the Christian faith, but I feel it'd be blasphemy to claim that. I prefer Non-religious, even though I conform to certain Christian beliefs for the sake of my family.

I get offended when people say things like "Oh, don't play Planescape: Torment it's old and outdated" or "Why would you ruin your nostalgic memories by playing Fallout 2?"

Man, it burns my butt. I don't say anything, but their name immediately makes it into the little black book in my mind. One day...

anything given sufficient time and quantity get's my limitless ire.

but what really sends me over the edge are overuse of internet meme's in real life and people that have to add hashtag to try and make a point, ie. Hashtag just saying...

that fucks me off right there and then

I can't really think of anything that truly offends me anymore. I do, however, get annoyed/angry very quickly, but also forget about it just as quickly.

I didn't even think of that. I hate it when I see that. #justsaying.

Things that offend me :

- When someone realises that they have lost an argument due to their own stupidity and responds with "Whatever"
- Religious nut jobs
- Racist tendancies
- The "I don't/didn't know" answer that coincides with a "No" answer to the question "Did you try and find out?"
