I have been doing that for years Neogaf is the best place to get impressions about new games you just need to filter out the fanboy's on both sides.I also use Eurogamer Digital foundry articles to see if a game I am interested in is performing as it should,it is also cool to read about the performance of the different platforms.
 
Got myself Alien Isolation yesterday. Ordered on Monday from Kalahari and used that R100 discount. Got delivered yesterday and I'm in an outlaying area. I'm still dumb struck... Anyone else here play it yet? I want to finish Dust before moving on to this. Even watched all the Alien movies in preparation :p

AW YIS!

Got my first Platinum Trophy! I should have gotten it on my second playthrough of Infamous: SS but my assumption was that the hardest difficulty was more challenging. Meanwhile you simply take longer to heal-up but with one or two abilities taken early in the game you can pretty much be invisible. Trust me I am now 100% DONE with this game it's super awesome and amazingly beautiful but playing it 3 times in a row, there is only so much you can do.
 
I am busy downloading Driveclub I played a bit of it and my first impressions are very positive I love the handling model Evolution realy nailed the simcade feel also the lighting system is amazing one of the first things I did was to do a single event and set the time change to 60 times normal and wow really impressive.I also have to say the quick play feature really is awesome,no more downloading the whole game to start playing the Ps4"s features sometimes get overlooked but that is one cool feature.
 
Anyone gonna get Lords of the Fallen next week?
Sounds like a Dark Souls style RPG. Which is right up my alley :D.

I agree. Based on the fact I own two copies of Dark Souls 1&2.
But there's other games I'm more keen for and can only really afford three more titles this year.

There's a good video by ENB on it though. Should check it out.

Yeah I'm waiting for some reviews first. Need to spend wisely in November with all the games coming.

I've played it. Not finished yet though i do feel I'm near the end. Have taken a bit of a break to get through The Evil Within. They really went all out to recreate the look of the movie and the Alien is as terrifying as ever.
 
just realised I don't think I can afford GTA V this month, then again I also really want... Wolfenstein, Lords of The fallen, Infamous: First Light, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive edition, Drive Club...

I actually completely forgot about the launch... Looking on the bright side though, Infamous : First light is only like R300 bucks at most places...

And If I give you my PSN details, you can download it for free on your console.. and play it. Because of the "glitch" currently on digital bought games.

With all digital purchased games! Just need to find a friend that trusts you with the PSN credentials. On ebay there are people "Selling" PS4 games for around R150 - R200.. which makes use of this glitch.
