Not Robin
Why did you have to say that dude? Now I am going to have to complete my collection!
Yeah, me too. I'm busy building my 100 Bullets trade collection, and this might be a good site to do that on.
Why did you have to say that dude? Now I am going to have to complete my collection!
Yeah, great series. Not done with it yet, but getting there. Slowly buying up the trades. It has been in development for TV for years now.Jeez bro! How amazing is 100 bullets! Iv got all the digital copies!
Heard a rumour they were making a tv series about it, but not sure if it ever came to anything... Great read though... I must say probably one of the best, and loooongest, series iv read...
Im still going with my Walking Dead weekly, pretty cool we got an issue a week early this month, with a bonus issue coming soon
Want to get into Robert Kirkmans other series, The Invincible's, looks pretty cool, anyone else read any of it?
Also still making my was through Uncanny X-Men... Its just pretty tough reading...
Glad you are enjoying the course, what was your first assignment about?
I read about 60 issues of Invincible. Great book, I'd recommend it to anyone. That is exactly what a superhero book should be like.
Which volume of Uncanny X-Men? The most recent stuff?
I had to write about a page from Will Eisner's the Spirit and what the page meant when read on its own.
Im on the stuff (i think that) you recommended, Dark Phoenix saga, Messiah complex...
Some new stuff I got this week: Gotham Academy #1, Lobo #1 and Arkham Manor #1.
I've read the first two, which were awesome.
What's everyone reading?
I'm going to. Have digital codes for it. Look forward to it. Reading Rocket Raccoon #4 today! My Tablet went on the blink for a while, but iv got it up and running again, so my comic reading will commence in full force again tonight...
Anyone read The Death of Wolverine series? Apparently its a 6 part series? Thinking of getting it...

Heh. Check out the monster cover for the latest Supes/WW. Looks amazing.I'm currently reading Superman/Wonder Woman...
Good grief, I'm such a hopeless romantic![]()
Started reading my The Walking Dead graphic novels again. Must really some of the newer ones, always get so stuck into them.
I've recently started on some of the DC New 52 comics (specifically some of the Batman ones, Justice League, Flash, Green Lantern etc)
Now I want to start on the Marvel NOW comics, but I'm a bit lost as to what to get and what not to. Any advice?
You've come to the right place.
Here are a few books which I think you'll like:
Hickman's Avengers
Rocket Raccoon
New Avengers
All-New X-Men
Hawkeye (which is now ending)
The Amazing Spider-Man (which is in the middle of a great event called Spider-Verse).
What particularly do you like? I can narrow down a bit then.
Thanks, was hoping to get some insight
I do like me some Spider-Man, so I was going to get everything related to Spidey.
Furthermore, Avengers, yes, but are there other series which are prerequisite for Avengers? (like in DC with Justice League, with some storylines they'll jump from JL to Aquaman and back for a couple of weeks covering a specific storyline) Because I know if you don't follow those issues (or the run up to it) you get lost on the story very quickly.
What confuses me on choice is that they've got a couple of different versions for a specific hero or group (like Avengers, Avengers Arena, New Avengers, Secret Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, Young Avengers, Avengers Assemble, the list goes on).
Which is the best :
Avengers
X-Men
Wolverine
Deadpool (just the one as far as I know?)
Spider-Man
Guardians of the Galaxy (just the one as well?)
And then are any of the Iron Man / Hulk comics any good (i.e. members of the Avengers that could tie into the Avengers storylines?)
Which is the best :
Avengers - Avengers and New Avengers.
X-Men - Not that good right now. The best version is All-New X-Men.
Wolverine - ENDING
Deadpool (just the one as far as I know?) - JUST GET IT.
Spider-Man - Amazing is probably the premier book...look into the Spider-Verse tie-ins and probably read the Superior Spider-Man run-up to this book.
Guardians of the Galaxy (just the one as well?) - There is the GotG book, then a Star-Lord book, then an amazing Rocket Raccoon book.
Hulk is okay, I guess. Don't go into Iron Man just yet, nothing to write home about. Instead, I recommend the superb Daredevil series.
