Fallout 3

LOL Yeah will do..Have you got any tips for me?

Fallout 3 is a very open minded and odd game. Heavy RPG elements + FPS action + TPS options. You can do main mission or do side quests or go exploring or just pimp out your home or destroy random towns or do them all..seriously, it's one of those games where you can do and become what ever you want to do and be.

Just run about doing things until you find something that really appeals to you and just go for it.

I loved this game, didn't like the ending.
I'm going to play it again with that uuuhh... Operation.. Anchorage? Also didn't get the chance to play it on full settings, *sighs at computer*

I'm in two minds about getting this. There is a lot that makes think it will quite fun, but the comments like "if you like Oblivion you enjoy this" put me off. I never really enjoyed Oblivion that much. Never finished it. I am starting it again now to see if there is something I missed that will make me enjoy it, but in frankly just found it slow and repetitive the last time I played it.

I probably would have got it by now, but I can't seem to find anyone who has it in stock in Dbn.

I guess the reason why people compare the game to Oblivion is due to the fact that it uses the same type of movement and character style. In terms of leveling up, exploring, killing, looting and mission, it's a totally different ballgame. I like the whole Oblivion medieval setting but in a way I still prefer Fallout 3 over it. FO3 framerate on the Xbox 360 is also much improved over the Oblivion version.

what darkwater said :)

oblivion has swords and shields, fallout has guns and grenades! so much more fun shooting guys in the head in glorious slow motion (thank you V.A.T.S) and seeing the head scattering in different directions. oblivion was good, but Fallout 3 (for me at least) was a MAJOR improvement

and 3 hours in this game is nothing. it happens quite often that you play this game and you just "lose" time. sucked in completely. this game will never be sold/traded :D a gem!

I had a look at this game on a friends PC and I have to say that I need to get my hands on it. The beginning of the game is a bit slow though but I suppose it's all part of the storyline

I'm so like never going to sell mine! There's just so much replay value, and to be honest, I'm having a hard time finding games these days that I really really like.

+1 Starts a little bit slow and then bang, the whole world opens up.

It seems I am sold... now I just have to find somewhere that has it in stock in a pc version.

I stopped playing it when I hit level 16 before even leaving the bottom right quadrant of the map. The game is unbalanced. Luckily there are plenty of mods to correct these things. I have downloaded several, but I'm just waiting for a lengthy period of free time before I can get back into the game.

I played all the other fallout games and i must say that this one almost as great as two was...they just need to bring out the extra's that they promised :P

In comparison to Oblivion I found Fallout 3 to be seriously lacking... though I really enjoyed the Galaxy radio soundtrack... don't ask me why though lol!

I absolutely loved Fallout 3, it's exactly the type of game that gets me hooked, big, open, and filled to the brim with things to discover, giving me guns to shoot with is just a bonus.

+1 .... I'm much more happy with FO3 than I was with Oblivion. Oblivion started getting stale .... I have yet to get that feeling from FO3 and I've been going at it forever :D

This game has blown me out of the water...very few games are able to impress me so much.
I know that any other game that I play now, wont compare to it and that depresses me.
I cant even look at the untouched Gears 2 on my desk and not be sad about the completed Fallout 3.
