1Gbps fibre available in SA neighbourhoods

Therein lies the problem what is the point of that speed when data is still so costly in this country things have to change.

Not everyone has a 10Gb cap :p, I'm actually looking forward to it arriving in my area. :)

Here's the funny thing. I live ~ 1.5km from work. There we have a FTTP connection (among other types of connections for redundancy). They have metro-ethernet at the single exchange that covers the entire town. The Telkom fibre backbone runs right past our town and that is why it is available...
...if you're a large business or the municipality. If you want residential internet, you can choose between a 2Mbit/s or 4Mbit/s ADSL connection. No VDSl. No Telkom mobile...

You're not the only one. I have to somehow make my 10GB 3G cap last every month.
At least in December I'll be on ADSL again.

I am moving next year I can not get adsl where I live and mobile data prices are a joke .Destiny eats cap like a pig lol.
