I am finding conflicting opinions on that, some sites state 2 chapters left by saying 699 will be twice as long and then a 700 to complete it all.

They HAVE to have at least a 10 min sequence with all the characters doing their own thing, similar to how Hunter X Hunter ended but I want to see all of the main characters, it would be cool if we could see Naruto and Sasuke's children on their first day of the academy.... Ah one can only dream.
 

I hope they end it properly. Yea would like to see how it will look like in a 10 year gap sense. will just have to wait and see

Yoshiyuki Tomino is celebrating his 72nd birthday, he's the creator of the original Gundam franchise. Omedetou!

Secondly, Naruto is supposedly ending today. Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure.

Honestly, it is sad to see it go, I have been reading Naruto since 2003 and that is a long time, my Thursday mornings will never be the same again. The ending was conclusive, we got to see the lives of the shinobi all grown up into adults. Just by the by who the F~ did Kiba marry?? Some couples where pretty obvious others, well those were complete curve balls. It felt like a good friend of mine was going away when I read the final few pages but I know it's going to be alright. We won't see each other ever again but we came to terms with our losses.

I salute you Mr. Kishimoto Masashi, 15 years of Naruto. Here is to another successful manga we hope to see from you soon!~
 
After so many years of reading the manga and growing up and learning from it im sad to see it go i was hooked i started following the anime back in 2001. Im really going to miss it once the anime finishes. The manga felt abit rushed on 699 but i was like ahhh yea 700 did justice.

then again when it comes to the ending of an EPIC anime

Looking back to how it made people feel and brought people together with the epic-ness of anime. like Glorbit said its like having a friend leave, but its going to be ok.

So what happened to: *insert 20+ semi-main characters that were vital to the plot here* to me a lot of them were conveniently killed off in the great ninja war.

I've been trying to avoid the internet because of the the crying about Naruto finishing going on. Mission unsuccessful ... my Facebook feed is inundated with people talking about it, debating ... shipping characters who were never meant to be together etc etc. And whining about spoilers, of course.

And then I'm trying to keep up with the currently airing season - I'm watching way too many shows at the moment.

But don't worry ... I'm always here .... lurking ... :p
 
I haven't watched Anime in years.

Just starting to rewatch some of my favourites, then I'm diving into rewatching Naruto (stopped round about the time Shippuden started, kept up with the manga for another year or two afterwards)

Anybody here watch One Piece? I've also stopped following the manga. Is it any good still? Really enjoyed it way back when.

I havent started but friends say it is awesome.

I am going to be honest, One piece is not for everyone, it's extremely long at 600+ episodes and a lot of people stop watching after 70 or so episodes.

If you can make it past the first 4~ arcs where the crew is coming together then you are golden. It basically gets it's momentum at the start of the Water 7 arc when they find their last crew members. Also understand the one piece has been running since 1999 so it's original animation style and art vs. today are completely different.

This fills you into up until the invasion of marineford.

I've watched up to where they got Chopper, and read the manga up to the Marine HQ siege with Whitebeard.
